An interesting twist to the normal idlis

Schezwan Idli !!!

Ingredients to make Schezwan Idli !!!

  • Idlis - 10
  • Chopped onion- 1
  • Bell peppers (Red,Green,Yellow)- 1/4 cup each chopped fine
  • Chopped veggies(cabbage,Beans,Carrot)- 1/4 cup each
  • Sweet corn - 2 tbspn
  • Schezwan chutney - 2 tbspn(adjust to taste)
  • butter-1 tbspn
  • oil- 1 tbspn
  • garlic - 2 Cloves chopped
  • Black pepper powder- 1/4 tspn
  • salt to taste
  • coriander leaves for garnish

How to make Schezwan Idli !!!

  1. Firstly take the idlis and cut them into small cubes
  2. Picture of the chopped vegetables
  3. Heat a kadhai.... Put oil and butter....Then when hot add chopped garlic and onion
  4. Saute for a few minutes
  5. Now add black pepper powder and salt....Mix well.
  6. Now add all the chopped vegetables....and let it cook for a few minutes
  7. Now add the schezwan chutney....mix well
  8. Now add the Idli pieces...mix well...
  9. The Idli pieces should get coated well
  10. Turn off the gas garnish with coriander leaves...
  11. Serve hot

My Tip:

If you wish you can add tomatoes
