About Pav bhaji thin crust Pizza Recipe

Here I made a fusion of Indian pav bhaji and with pizza made of whole wheat

Pav bhaji thin crust Pizza

Ingredients to make Pav bhaji thin crust Pizza

  • For the pizza base :-
  • Whole wheat flour- 2 cups
  • Instant yeast - 1 tbspn
  • salt to taste
  • olive oil - 1 to 2 tbspn
  • Milk - 1/4 cup
  • water - to knead about 1 cup(adjust accordingly)
  • Some dry flour for later - 2 tbspn
  • For the pav bhaji
  • potato - 3 peeled
  • Green peas - 1/2 cup
  • cauliflower- 4 to 5 florets
  • carrots - 2 chopped into cubes
  • capsicum - 1 chopped small
  • onion - 3 finely chopped
  • tomato - 2 chopped small
  • ginger garlic paste - 1 tbspn
  • red chilly powder- 1/2 tspn
  • turmeric powder- 1/2 tspn
  • Pav bhaji masala- 2 tspn
  • salt to taste
  • butter- 1 tbspn
  • oil- 1 and half tbspn
  • coriander leaves for garnish
  • water as per need
  • For the pizza topping :-
  • onion - 1 big cut into thin slices
  • red chilly flakes - 1 tbspn
  • Oregano - 2 tspn
  • Mozzarella cheese grated - 1 cup

How to make Pav bhaji thin crust Pizza

  1. In a bowl put the wheat flour,salt,oil and yeast....Mix well
  2. Now add warm milk and water and knead it....
  3. This needs to be kneaded for five to seven minutes
  4. Then grease it with little oil....Cover and keep aside for an hour or more till it doubles in size.
  5. After an hour or so the flour will rise will look like this
  6. For making the pav bhaji
  7. Take a pressure cooker...Wash all the vegetables and cut it and put it in the cooker
  8. Put little water and pressure cook it for 3 to whistles...
  9. Then when cool mash the vegetables with a potato masher
  10. In the meantime heat a kadhai or pan and put oil
  11. When hot add chopped onions and saute well
  12. Then add ginger garlic paste and cook for a few minutes....
  13. Then add the dry masala powders and salt
  14. Put chopped tomato and capsicum....Cook till soft...
  15. After it gets cooked it will look like this
  16. Now add the boiled and mashed vegetables
  17. Add some water and bring to required consistency ... Do not make it very watery ....
  18. Now put butter and coriander leaves...Turn off the gas... Your pav bhaji is ready...
  19. Now take the kneaded flour and punch the air out of it.... Knead it again.
  20. Then divide it into two parts. .
  21. Take one part.... Dust your workstation and roll it into a round circle ...I rolled it to a big pizza size about 12 inches
  22. Grease your baking tray with some oil
  23. Pierce it with a fork... Put it carefully on the tray...
  24. Now put some pav bhaji on the base ...Spread it all over...
  25. Then put grated mozzarella cheese all over the bhaji....Put onion slices...
  26. Sprinkle some oregano and chilly flakes if you like
  27. Preheat your oven at 180 degree for 10 minutes
  28. Then put the baking tray in and bake it for 10 to 15 minutes till nice and crisp....
  29. Serve hot ...

Here you can choose vegetables of your choice for the pav bhaji and the topping also if you wish to add any ...
