ABOUT Chicken Roast RECIPE

The chicken roast is one of a delicious, lip-smacking dish with unbelievable flavors and crispy skin on. This is my husband's favorite dish. This recipe credit goes to my husband. There are different recipes for preparing this recipe worldwide. My recipe of chicken roast is prepared by marinating chicken with yogurt, Indian spices with a touch of lime. This dish can be prepared for dinner parties or served as a side dish or an appetizer. My version of chicken roast is a perfect example of an explosion of flavors in your mouth. So do try.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Marination:-
  2. 1 kg Chicken full with skin on
  3. 4 tbspoon Yogurt
  4. 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  5. 3 tbsp Vinegar (as per taste)
  6. Salt to taste
  7. 1/4 tsp Tandoori Masala
  8. 2 tbsp lemon juice
  9. 2 tbsp Red Chili Powder
  10. 1 tsp Coriander powder
  11. 1 tsp garam masala powder
  12. 1 tsp cumin powder
  13. 1 tbsp Black Pepper Crushed
  14. Oil (as needed)

Instructions

  1. Slit 1 kg chicken whole chicken on various places.
  2. In a bowl add 4 tbsp Yogurt, 2 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste, 3 tbsp Vinegar, Salt, 1/4 tsp Tandoori Masala, 2 tbsp Lemon Juice, 2 tbsp Red Chili Powder, 1 tsp Coriander Powder, 1 tsp Garam Masala Powder, 1 tsp Cumin Powder, 1 tbsp Black Pepper.
  3. Marinate the chicken and keep it in the refrigerator overnight or at least 5 to 6 hours.
  4. In a wok heat the oil well and fry the marinated chicken till the raw smell of spices goes and then steam the Chicken for 25-30 minutes over medium heat.
  5. Serve the chicken roast with Flatbread.
