Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1.  Crab   -  1 kg
  2. 2.  Red chilli powder  -  1 and half tspn
  3. 3.  Pepper powder  -  1/2 tspn
  4. 4.  Turmeric powder  -  1/2 tspn
  5. 5.  Kudampuli - 3 ( you can also use normal tamrind )
  6. 6.  Garlic crushed  - 1/2 tspn
  7. 7.  Ginger crushed  -  1 tspn
  8. 8.  Salt
  9. 9.  Oil  - 3 tbspn
  10. 10.  Garlic crushed  -  4
  11. 11.  Onion  -  1 chopped
  12. 12.  Curry leaves
  13. 13.  Water  - 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. Put the cleaned crab along with red chilli powder, pepper powder, turmeric powder, kudampuli, garlic crushed, crushed ginger, salt and water in an earthern pot ( or you can also use normal pan).
  2. Cover and cook on low heat till crab cooked well and the water dries off . Keep it aside.
  3. In a normal pan, heat oil , saute crushed garlic and chopped onion till they turn golden brown.
  4. Add the crab and stir well. Let it cook for a minutes, stirring in between.
  5. Add curry leaves and switch off the flame. Serve hot !
