Tangy twisty pasta

Ingredients to make Tangy twisty pasta

  • tomato 4
  • onion 1 medium sized
  • Spaghetti pasta 1 packet
  • garlic 6 cloves
  • Cheese 4 tablespoon
  • Green chilli 1
  • chilli flakes as per taste
  • Mixed Italian seasoning as per taste
  • Red chilli powder as per taste
  • salt as per taste
  • sugar 1 teaspoon
  • butter 1 tablespoon
  • olive oil 1 tablespoon
  • Basil leaves 1
  • Babycorn 4
  • capsicum 1/4
  • olive 4

How to make Tangy twisty pasta

  1. In a pan, add half tablespoon of olive oil, add garlic and chopped chilli.
  2. Add chopped onion and fry for 4 to 5 minutes.
  3. Add chopped tomatoes and cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Add salt, red chilli powder, red chilli flakes, seasoning and cook for about 10 minutes till tomatoes are well cooked.
  5. Cool this mixture.
  6. Once cooled, grind this mixture and make a paste. This is the sauce for the pasta.
  7. Meanwhile, boil water and cook spaghetti till almost done (Al dente).
  8. Drain the water and keep under cool running water to stop over cooking of spaghetti.
  9. In a pan, add olive oil and butter.
  10. Add the vegetables and cook for about 7 minutes.
  11. Add the pasta sauce and cook for about 2 minutes.
  12. Add cheese and cook till it melts.
  13. Add pasta, basil leaf (hand year the leaf into small pieces) and cook for about 3 to 5 minutes on low flame.
  14. Serve hot.

My Tip:

Do not overcook the pasta. The pasta sauce can be stored in refrigerator and used for next two days.
