Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Raw rice 1/4kg
  2. Moong dal 200 grams
  3. Pepper jeera crushed 2 tsp
  4. Asafoetida 1pinch
  5. Curryleaves 10nos
  6. Salt
  7. Ghee 3 spoon
  8. Chilli 2 no
  9. Coconut half graterd
  10. Pottukadalai 100 gram
  11. Garlic 1 no small
  12. Tamarind 1 small pinch

Instructions

  1. Cook moongdal and raw rice together in a pressure cooker in 6 cups of water.Add salt.
  2. 4 whistle is enough
  3. Heat pan pour ghee, add crushed pepper jeera, chilli, curryleaves. Roast 20 seconds. Add in the cooker rice dal mixture to the pan. Saute 5 minutes. Coconut chutney In a jar add grated coconut, pottu kadalai, green chilli, garlic,little Tamarind , salt and grind nicely. Heat small pan put 1 spoon oil add mustard , curryleaves,hing saute 3 minutes . Pour this over the chutney
