There are many ways to make bombay masala sandwich and each one identifies and follows the recipe suited to oneself. this is a simpler yet tasty form of recipe adapted by me according to our tastes.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 4 bread slices
  2. 2 boiled potatoes
  3. 2 onions
  4. 1 tomato
  5. 1 capsicum
  6. Salt,to taste
  7. 1-2 green chillies
  8. 1/2 cup green chutney
  9. 1/2 cup imli chutney
  10. 2 cheese slices
  11. Chaat masala powder
  12. Butter,as required

Instructions

  1. Peel the potatoes and mash them.
  2. Add one chopped onion,salt and green chillies to make a filling.
  3. Take 2 bread slices.
  4. Put green chutney on each side .
  5. Put imli chutney on top of green chutney.
  6. Put the potato filling on one of the bread slice.
  7. Top it with chopped onion,tomato and capsicum.
  8. Sprinkle some salt and chaat masala powder.
  9. Put a cheese slice on top and cover with other bread slice.
  10. Butter the outer sides of the bread and grill to make sandwich.
  11. Similarly make another sandwich
  12. Serve hot with more chutneys of your choice .
