About Methi poori Recipe

Methi pooris are prepared with wheat flour and dry fenugreek leaves.Its very easy to prepare and tasty with simple ingredients.

Methi poori

Ingredients to make Methi poori

  • wheat flour - 250 gms
  • Dry fenjgreek leaves 3 spoons
  • salt as per taste
  • oil as required
  • water as req

How to make Methi poori

  1. In a bowl all the dry ingredients and mix well.
  2. Add little water and mix well.Repeat the process until it form stiff dough and rest for 10 minutes.
  3. After that massage well and cut into equal amount of portions.
  4. Made all the portions to round shaped balls and press slightly.
  5. Roll all the roundles to pooris.
  6. Heat the oil for deep fry.
  7. Slowly drop the poori in medium heat oil.Once it started puffs flip to other side and fry until it cooks well.
  8. Do the same for all rolled pooris.
  9. Enjoy hot hot pooris with your favourite chutney or curry.

My Tip:

Dough should not be too moisty since it absorbs oil while frying.
