Veg amla sadam

Ingredients to make Veg amla sadam

  • Cooked rice 2 cups
  • urad dal 1 tsp
  • chana dal 1 tsp
  • mustard seeds 1 tsp
  • cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • peanuts 2 tsp
  • cashew nuts 5-6
  • Shredded amla 1/2 cup
  • carrot chopped 1/2 cup
  • capsicum chopped 1/2 cup
  • Green chilli slited 2-3
  • salt as needed
  • turmeric powder 1 pinch
  • hing pinch
  • Dried red chilli 3-4

How to make Veg amla sadam

  1. Firstly cook the rice
  2. Now take a pan and add oil to it
  3. Once the oil is hot add mustard seeds and let it crackle
  4. Add urad Dal,chana Dal,peanuts,cumin seeds, Kaju and fry them well
  5. Now add dried red chilli and hing
  6. Once it is fried add green chilli and fry well
  7. Now add chopped capsicum, carrot and fry until it is cooked properly
  8. Now add salt, and turmeric powder to it and mix well
  9. Once it is cooked add grated amla
  10. Fry for couple of minutes
  11. Now add the mixture to the rice and mix well and serve it with vegetable pickle, papads, fryums
