We all kniw that ragi flour is a healthy flour.these yummy parantha is popular in south India.peas stuffing gives bite to this parantha.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1/2 cup ragi flour
  2. 1/2 cup water
  3. 1/2 tsp salt
  4. Ghee or oil for cooking of parantha
  5. For stuffing---
  6. 1 cup boiled peas
  7. 1 green chilli
  8. 1 tsp ginger paste
  9. 5 curry leaves
  10. Coriander leaves
  11. 1 tbsp oil
  12. 1 tsp mustard seeds
  13. 1 tsp fennel seeds
  14. Salt as per taste
  15. 2 tsp lemon juice


  1. Boil water in pan
  2. Add oil and salt in it
  3. When water boil add ragi flour
  4. And mix finely in water
  5. Cover and keep on gas for 5 min.
  6. Then take it on work place
  7. Let it cool a little and make dough with hands
  8. Keep it covered for 10 min.
  9. Take boiled peas,green chilli and curry leaves in mixi and grind coarsly
  10. Heat oil in pan
  11. Add mustard seeds and fennel seeds
  12. Add peas mix and cook it
  13. Then add salt and lemon juice
  14. Devide ragi dough in equal parts
  15. Take a plastic sheet and put one ball on it cover with other
  16. And roll down
  17. Take a round lid and cut it for fine shape
  18. Roll down one more ball and cut it in same size as previous
  19. Spread peas filling upon one part
  20. And cover with other part
  21. Seal edges with help of water
  22. And prick with fork
  23. Heat tawa and add oil or ghee
  24. Cook parantha from both side
  25. Serve with pickle,curd or chutney
