Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Raagi 2 cups
  2. Rice 1 cup
  3. Chopped veggies
  4. Soya and tomato sauce
  5. Green chillies
  6. Tadka items, fresh coconut
  7. Salt


  1. Soak raagi and rice seperately at night. Morning grind them seperately ..Filter the raagi batter and mix with rice batter. Now add salt to the batter cook them on a low flame to make a dough
  2. Now make balls out of cooked dough and steam the balls for 30 mins
  3. In a semiya maker add the balls and make semiya
  4. In a pan add oil,mustard seeds,jeera, urad dal, ground nuts green chillies,saute ...Now add lime juice ,1 cup of fresh coconut salt .Now add the semiya and mix well .This is typical south indian semiya
  5. For chineese noodles , pour cold water on semiya and allow it to rest. In a pan add oil ,ginger ,garlic , slit green chillies , chopped veggies ,spring onions and saute . Now add soya sauce and tomato sauce ,salt and mix well ..Now add the noodles mix well . Cook it on a low flame and serve
