Sukhi Turai

Ingredients to make Sukhi Turai

  • Turai 1 kg
  • tomatoes 4 big
  • onions 3 big
  • garlic 4 buds
  • oil 2 tbsp
  • jeera 1 tsp
  • hing a pinch
  • haldi powder 1/2 tsp
  • dhania powder 1 tsp
  • Lal mirch powder 1/2 tsp
  • salt as required

How to make Sukhi Turai

  1. Wash and cut Turai (Snake Gourd) lengthwise.
  2. Chop tomatoes, onions and garlic in a blender to make a fine paste.
  3. Take a Kadhai and add oil when it is slightly heated add jeera and hing. Let it crackle.
  4. Add paste from the blender and add all dry masala and mix well.
  5. Add Turai and mix well.
  6. Let it cook for 10 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  7. Serve with chapati.
