Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Split green gram lentils 200 gram
  2. Salt 1 teaspoon
  3. A pinch of turmeric powder
  4. Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon
  5. Chaat masala 1 teaspoon
  6. Garam masala powder 1/2 teaspoon
  7. Onion 1 medium size
  8. Tomato 1 medium size
  9. Green chillies 2
  10. Ginger 1 inch piece
  11. Lemon juice 1 tablespoon
  12. Roasted cumin seeds powder 1 teaspoon
  13. Butter 2 tablespoons
  14. Coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Wash and soak lentils for half an hour
  2. Then boil adding salt, chopped ginger and turmeric powder till softened
  3. Add chopped onion , tomato , green chillies
  4. Add red chilli powder , garam masala powder and chaat masala
  5. Add lemon juice and garnish with coriander leaves
  6. Dizzle with some butter and serve hot
