Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Cauliflower florets 2 cups
  2. Green peas half cup
  3. Hung curd 3 tablespoons
  4. Almonds soaked in warm water 8 to 10
  5. Onion medium 2
  6. Ginger 1 inch pc
  7. Garlic 6 cloves
  8. Bay leaf 1
  9. Green cardamom 2
  10. Dalchini inch pc 1
  11. Clove 3
  12. Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
  13. Refined oil 2 tablespoons
  14. Clarified butter 2 teadpoons
  15. Salt and sugar to taste
  16. Few slit green chilli
  17. Kashmiri chilli powder 1teaspoon


  1. Wash and blanch cauliflower florets with a little salt for 5 to 6 mins
  2. Make a paste of onion, ginger and garlic and green chilli
  3. Make another paste of curd and peeled almonds
  4. Heat 1 tablespoon oil and 1teaspoon clarified butter in a wok
  5. Shallow fry the cauliflower florets
  6. Add the rest oil
  7. Add cumin seeds, crushed whole garam masala and bay leaf
  8. Saute for few secs then add onion paste
  9. Fry till oil seperates then add green peas
  10. Add sugar, salt and kashmiri red chilli powder and mix well
  11. Add the curd and almond paste and keep stirring
  12. Add the sauteed florets and mix well
  13. Add a little water and cover and cook for about 15 mins in medium flame stirring in between
  14. Adjust consistency and top it with the remaining clarified butter
  15. Garnish with fresh tomato and green chillies
