Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cups of rice flour
  2. 1 cup of curd
  3. Salt as per taste
  4. Chili flakes 1/2 a spoon
  5. 1/2 spoon hing
  6. 1 finely chopped onion
  7. 1 finely chopped tomato
  8. 1/2 a cup sweet corn
  9. 1/2 cup finely chopped coriander leaves
  10. 1 small spoon baking powder
  11. 1/3 small spoon baking soda
  12. For tadka- 1 small spoon musterd seeds
  13. 1/2 a spoon sesame seeds
  14. 2 green chillis
  15. 1 big spoon oil
  16. 10-12 curry leaves


  1. Heat a heavy bottom pan and roast the rice flour for 2 minuts
  2. In a bowl add rice flour and card, add salt.
  3. Add sweet corn, finely chopped onion, tomatoes, coriander leaves, and chilly flakes
  4. Add hing and mix it well
  5. Keep the batter aside for 10 minutes
  6. After that add baking powder and baking soda mix it gently
  7. Grease a bowl with oil and pour the batter
  8. In a deep pan boil 3 glasses of water put a stand and put the bowl over it and close the lid
  9. Steam for 15 - 20 minutes
  10. After that remove the bowl from pan and prepare for tadka
  11. Cut the cake, in a frying pan heat the oil add musterd seeds, sesame seeds, green chilly and curry leaves when splutter, spread the tadka over the cake and enjoy yummyy corn cake with green chatni
