About Khandbi Recipe

This recipe is coming from gujarat. Khandbi is a very soft and delicious tast. for me this is a best breakfast

Khandbi

Ingredients to make Khandbi

  • 1 cup besan
  • 1 cup curd
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger paste
  • 1/2 cup grated coconut
  • 2 green chili chopped
  • 3 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds

How to make Khandbi

  1. Take besan and curd in a bowl
  2. Add water and make a thin batter
  3. Add salt and turmeric powder
  4. Add ginger past and wisk wel
  5. Take a staner and strain the batter in a pan
  6. Steering continuasly till the batter become thik
  7. When the batter become thik switch off the flame
  8. Take a steel thali grease oil back of the thali
  9. Make a thin layer top of the grease thali with this thik batter and keep it for 5 minutes
  10. This step i made in 3 thali
  11. Heat a pan take 1 spoon oil and mustard seeds
  12. When the seeds splattered switch of the flame
  13. Sprinkle few grated coconut, chopped chili and coriander leaves
  14. Cut the layer and make 6 peaces
  15. Sprinkle mustard seeds with oil
  16. Fold the peace separate in one by one
  17. When rolling process complete place all the khandbi in a plate
  18. Top on the khandani sprinkle grated coconut and mustard seeds with oil

My Tip:

Add green chili paste in the batter for mor delicious tast. I skip this ingredient for my kid
