ABOUT Veggie pakoras RECIPE

An easy and tasty recipe of pakoras witb mixed vegetables. You can eat these crispy pakodas as such or with bread,like we do at home sometimes.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 cup chopped vegetables ( carrot, cauliflower,capsicum,beans)
  2. 1 onion
  3. 1-2 green chillies
  4. 2 tbsp coriander leaves
  5. 1/2 cup gram flour/ besan
  6. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  7. 1/4 tsp carrom seeds
  8. 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
  9. 1/4 tsp garam masala powder
  10. Salt,to taste
  11. Oil,for frying


  1. Take finely chopped vegetables and onion in a bowl.
  2. Add gram flour ,salt and all other spices.
  3. Add chopped green chillies and coriander leaves.
  4. Make a thick but flowing batter with water.
  5. Heat oil in a wok and drop spoonfuls of batter into the oil.
  6. Deep fry the pakoras till crisp and golden.
  7. Serve hot with tomato ketchup or chutney of your choice.
