Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 tablespoon chopped mint leaves
  2. 1 chopped tomato
  3. 5 cashews 1 cup finely chopped mushroom
  4. 1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves
  5. 1 chopped onion 3 halved green chilli
  6. 1 cup finely chopped mushroom
  7. For Garnishing 2 tablespoon fresh cream
  8. For The Main Dish 1/4 teaspoon mustard seeds 4 teaspoon refined oil 1/4 teaspoon cumin seeds salt as required

Instructions

  1. Step 1 Mushroom Curry is a simple and quick recipe, which you can prepare at home by following some simple steps given below. For making the paste, add all the ingredients (mint leaves, coriander leaves, onion, tomato, cashew nuts and green
  2. chillis) in a blender and make a coarse paste.Step 2 In the meantime, take a vessel and add the washed mushrooms along with a pinch of salt. This will remove adulterants and make the mushrooms soft and tender. Ensure that the mushrooms aren
  3. over cooked, you just need to par boil them for a few minutes.
  4. Step 3 Heat one tsp oil in a pan over moderate flame, add the mushrooms and toss till tender. Remove and keep aside.
  5. Heat the remaining oil in the same pan, add the mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add the ground paste, mix well and simmer for 10 minutes. Keep stirring
  6. Step 4 Add little water if required. Now add salt and toss mushrooms and mix it well. Cover and cook for a couple of minutes on moderate flame.
  7. Transfer the curry in a serving bowl and garnish with fresh cream and serve hot with steamed rice or rotis. You can also garnish this dish with chopped coriander leaves.
