Tasty,Spicy, savory salad but still it is very much healthy. Since it is made of plenty of vegetables, we can have and taste all at a time as well as chicken brings other side of non veg taste.

Ingredients to make Barbeque chicken salad in tahini sauce

  • For tahini sauce:
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • 4-5 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons warm water
  • Other ingredients:
  • 1 piece chicken breast
  • 4-5 tablespoons barbeque sauce
  • 2 teaspoons chilli flakes
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper powder
  • salt as per taste
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup assorted strips of bell pepper;red, yellow, green
  • 1/2 cup strips of carrots
  • 1 onion , sliced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped garlic
  • 1 tomato,cut into strips
  • 1 cucumber,cut into strips
  • 1/2 cup hung curd
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley

How to make Barbeque chicken salad in tahini sauce

  1. Marinate chicken breast for 10-15 minutes with barbeque sauce,1/2 tsp chilli flakes, salt, 1/2 tsp black pepper powder and oil .
  2. Heat grill pan, brush it with some oil and cook both sides till done.
  3. Then cut it into small chunks, keep aside.
  4. Dry roast sesame seeds for 3-4 minutes
  5. In mixer jar put roasted sesame seeds, olive oil, warm water, salt, chopped garlic,lemon juice and prepare a smooth paste,tahini sauce is ready.
  6. Heat oil,add chopped garlic, sliced onion and saute for a while in high flame.
  7. Add strips of carrot, red, yellow and green bell pepper and fry in high flame for a minute .
  8. Add strips of tomatoes, cucumbers and put off the flame at that moment.
  9. In a big bowl;put hung curd, tahini sauce,honey, black pepper powder, oregano and salt ,mix it till it well combine.
  10. Add chicken chunks and chilli flakes.
  11. Add all the veggies , chopped parsley and give a mixed.
  12. Serve it warm and enjoy.

My Tip:

Vegetarian can use cottage cheese or tofu instead of chicken.
