Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 200 grams dried mangoes(aam khola)
  2. 500 grams jaggery
  3. 1 cup of raisins
  4. 1 cup of cashew nuts
  5. 1 cup of dry dates cut into pieces
  6. 20-25 dried red chillies
  7. 1 cup of almond pieces
  8. 4 spoon of fennel seeds
  9. 1 spoon fenugreek seeds
  10. 1/2 cup of oil
  11. 1/2 spoon of salt
  12. 2 spoon of sesame seeds


  1. In a heavy bottom pan heat oil
  2. Add sesame seeds, fennel seeds, and fenugreek seeds
  3. When splutter add dried mango pieces and red chillies
  4. Mix it well and cook for 10 minutes in low medium flame
  5. Add cashew nuts, raisins, almonds, dried dates mix it well and fry a little
  6. Cut jaggery in small pieces and add it into the pan add 1/2 spoon of salt
  7. Mix it well and add atleast 6 glasses of water(as per need)
  8. Cook it in low medium flame atleast for 90 to 100 minutes
  9. Stir consistently
  10. When the gravy get thick and dried mango get soft close the gas, if not you can also add more glasses of lukewarm water.
