Spinach is a superfood it contains vitamins , potassium, magnesium, iron, and omega -3 fatty acids, all of which are required for healthy, we all love healthy chat so. Here is a crispy spinach leaves are coated with besan and roasted with little oil.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 20 spinach leaves
  2. 1/2 cup gram or chickpea flour
  3. 2 tbsp semolina or sooji
  4. 1/3 water
  5. 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  6. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  7. 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  8. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  9. Salt to taste
  10. As needed oil for shallow fry
  11. As Needed amchur jaggery chutney
  12. As needed green raw mango chutney
  13. As needed coriander chutney
  14. As needed pomegranate seeds

Instructions

  1. Take spinach leaves , remove the hard stalk, rinse them well carefully. Pat it dries using a kitchen towel or paper napkin.
  2. Keep the cleaned dry spinach leaves aside.
  3. Next in a bowl add besan, rava, and all spices add water and mix well. The batter should be little thick. Put a little oil in a nonstick pan.
  4. Now take on spinach leaf dip into the batter, it should be coated from all sides.
  5. Gently place the batter coated spinach leaves in the pan. Once roasted from one side flip it. And roast from another side, it should be crispy on both sides.
  6. Place all spinach pakodas on a plate and garnish with pomegranate pearls, chopped onion, chopped coriander leaves, chopped tomato and chutneys
  7. Finally add sev mixture and serve it.
