Carrot Cake

Ingredients to make Carrot Cake

  • maida 1 cup
  • atta 1 cup
  • sugar 3/4 cup
  • honey 1/4 cup
  • baking soda 1/2 tsp
  • salt 1/2 tsp
  • cinnamon powder 1/2 tsp
  • eggs 2 nos
  • Grated carrots 1 cup
  • butter 1/2 cup
  • cashews broken 1/4 cup

How to make Carrot Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Grease a cake tin with oil and dust with flour. Set aside.
  2. Mix maida , atta , baking soda , salt , cinnamon powder , grated carrots , cashews in a bowl .
  3. Take another bowl add in eggs , sugar , butter ,honey and mix well .
  4. Now mix in the flour ingredients into the egg mixture and fold in gently.
  5. Now pour the batter into the dusted cake tin and bake for 50 mins for 180 to 200 degrees or till the cake is done.
  6. Then remove the cake from the oven, let it cool completely on a wire rack and then cut into pieces.

My Tip:

You can add ripe bananas for some extra flavour.
