ABOUT Olive Tomato Focaccia Bread RECIPE

This delicious bread is crusty outside and fluffy inside,with a nice flavour of olive, sliced tomato and capsicum.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cups all purpose flour.
  2. 3/4 tesp salt.
  3. 1 tesp yeast.
  4. 1 1/2 tesp sugar.
  5. 3 tbsp soft unsalted butter.
  6. 1/2 cup warm water.
  7. I tbsp olive oil.
  8. Topping :
  9. Olives,sliced tomatoes, capsicum cut in strips,2 tbsp chopped onions ,salt and paprika.


  1. Combine water,yeast and sugar in a bowl and set aside for 5 minutes.
  2. Add flour,butter,salt mix,knead to a soft dough.
  3. Transfer to an oiled bowl and cover with plastic wrap.
  4. Set aside for 1 hour to rise.
  5. Punch the dough and place on a lined baking sheet.
  6. Gently stretch the dough to form a circle of 1/4" thickness.
  7. Cover and set aside for 30 minutes to rise.
  8. Preheat oven to 180℃.
  9. Make dints on the dough,drizzle olive oil,place the toppings press them slightly into the dough.
  10. Sprinkle salt and paprika.
  11. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or till golden brown.
  12. Cool on wire rack.
