Soya Matar Keema

Ingredients to make Soya Matar Keema

  • Soya granules - 2 cups
  • Green peas - 1 cup
  • onions - 3
  • tomato - 1
  • Rai - 1 tsp
  • ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
  • green chillies - 2
  • curry leaves
  • coriander
  • turmeric - 1/2 tsp
  • red chilli powder - 2 tsps
  • Garam masala powder - 2 tsps
  • Tandoori masala - 2 tsps
  • salt to taste
  • oil for cooking

How to make Soya Matar Keema

  1. First wash and boil the green peas till done.
  2. Take the soya granules and cover with sufficient water and boil for 2 minutes.
  3. Now Take a sauce pan.
  4. Add some oil.
  5. Add a tsp of rai.
  6. Add the curry leaves.
  7. Now add the finely chopped onions.
  8. Stir fry for a while.
  9. Now add the ginger garlic paste.
  10. Stir for a while.
  11. Add in the tomatoes, the dry masala powders, salt.
  12. Cover and cook till soft.
  13. Now add the cooked peas and green peas.
  14. Mix well.
  15. Check salt and spices, cover and cook till flavours are nicely merged for a few minutes.
  16. Add the chopped coriander soon after turning the gas off.
  17. Ready to serve with phulkas or hot steamed rice.
