Tel koi

Ingredients to make Tel koi

  • Koi fish 3/4 pcs.
  • Black cumin seeds 1 tsp.
  • tomato 1 large size.
  • Shahi jeera 50 gram.
  • mustard oil 1 cup.
  • salt as per taste.
  • turmeric powder 1 tablespoon.
  • chili powder 1 tablespoon
  • coriander powder 1 tablespoon
  • dry chillies 2 to 3 pieces.

How to make Tel koi

  1. Marinate the koi fish with salt turmeric for 15 minutes.
  2. Make a smooth paste by using tomato, white cumin seeds and dry Chillies.
  3. heat oil in a pan.
  4. Fry the fish and keep aside.
  5. Add black cumin seeds.
  6. Now add the mixture of tomato ,white cumin seeds and dry Chillies in the pan.
  7. Saute it.
  8. Add salt.
  9. Add turmeric, coriender powder, chilli powder.
  10. Cook in low flame until oil separates.
  11. Now add half cup hot water.
  12. Add the fried fish.
  13. Cook in low flame for 10 minutes.
  14. Now serve with steamed rice.
