Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. For spinach paratha Chopped spinach - 250 gms
  2. Wheat flour - 1 cup
  3. Grated ginger - 1 inch stick
  4. Chopped green chilly - 1/4 tsp
  5. curd - 2 tsp
  6. Carom seeds - a pinch
  7. cumin seeds - a pinch
  8. salt - to taste
  9. oil - 4 tbsp
  10. For green gram subji
  11. Green gram/hara chana - 1 bowl
  12. Chopped onion - 1
  13. ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  14. tomato puree - 2 tbsp
  15. turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  16. Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
  17. coriander powder - 1 tsp
  18. Chopped green chilly - 1
  19. cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
  20. Whole garam masala - 1/2 tsp
  21. salt - to taste
  22. cream - 1 tbsp
  23. Chopped coriander leaves - 1 tbsp
  24. oil - 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. For spinach paratha Wash and chop spinach. and blanch it
  2. In a kneading bowl,mix wheat flour,spinach,curd,carom seeds and salt.
  3. Make a soft dough with the help of little water.
  4. Keep aside for 15 mins.
  5. On a heated pan,make parathas applying oil both the sides
  6. Once both the sides are cooked and golden brown in color.
  7. Serve hot with green gram subji
  8. For green gram subji
  9. Heat oil in a pan.
  10. Add whole garam masala and cumin seeds to crackle.
  11. Add onion and saute for 1 to 2 mins.
  12. Add ginger garlic paste,turmeric paste,red chilly powder,coriander powder and tomato puree and saute till oil leaves the pan.
  13. Add green gram and mix well.
  14. Add cream and half cup of water and cover it.
  15. Cook in a low flame for 7 - 8 mins.
  16. Garnish with coriander leaves.
  17. Serve with spinach paratha
