ABOUT Rashi kheer RECIPE

This is a traditional odia recipe which is especially done in Makar Shankranti. Rashi means til / sesame. In this kheer we ( odias) generally use rice, sesame, jaggery and milk. Many people don't use milk in this kheer. But I don't like without milk kheer. ln my version I don' t use til. For quick recipe of kheer I use Til ki ladoos/ Sesame ladoos. As there is jaggery added in the ladoos ,so I use less amount of jaggery. The aeroma of the kheer is like heaven and it is also heavenly in taste.
