This is a fusion dish of Bengali pitha recipe.

Ingredients to make Khili paan pitha

  • maida 2 cups
  • egg 1
  • Liquid milk 2 cups
  • salt 1 pinch
  • Rice flour 1/2 cup
  • sugar 1 tspn
  • oil 2 tblspn
  • Green food colour 1/2 tspn
  • Foil paper as per requirements
  • mango pulp 1 & 1/2 cup
  • Chopped almond 1/2 cup
  • Chopped cashew 1/2 cup
  • Cherry 10 - 12

How to make Khili paan pitha

  1. At first we have to take all the ingredients together
  2. Now take a mixing bowl and take maida, rice flour, salt, sugar, liquid milk and egg in it and mix it well to make a smooth batar. Now add food colour and mix it well.
  3. Now heat a fry pan and brush oil on it. Then take one tblspn of batar and pour on the pan and spread it in round shape. Cook it in medium flame .
  4. Now make a kon like khili paan and close the bottom of the kon with foil paper so that it can't be open. Then pour one tspn mango pulp in the kon and garnish with almond , cashew and cherry and serve it in a serving plate.

My Tip:

You can stuff the khili paan pitha with khowa or rabri.
