Masaledar Aloo

Ingredients to make Masaledar Aloo

  • Boiled potatoes 1/2 kg
  • cumin seeds 1 tbsp
  • Chat masala 1tsp
  • hing a pinch
  • turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • oil 4 tbsp
  • red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Dried methi 2 tbsp
  • Yoghourt 1 tbsp
  • salt to taste

How to make Masaledar Aloo

  1. Cut potatoes in desired shape
  2. Heat oil ,add hing , cumin seeds,red chilli powder,turmeric powder, and potatoes , saute for about 5-7 minutes
  3. Then add yoghourt and salt, cover and cook on low heat for 5 minutes then add chat masala ,methi, mix and serve hot.

My Tip:

Yoghourt is optional. Best cooked without lid
