Kaju Khajur Burfi

Ingredients to make Kaju Khajur Burfi

  • Split cashewnuts 1 cup
  • Dates/khajur desseded 1 1/2 cup
  • ghee very little
  • khus khus for dusting

How to make Kaju Khajur Burfi

  1. Take a non stick kadai. Add ghee and fry split cashewnuts only for a few seconds. Switch off the flame. Let it cool.
  2. Once cooled powder it coarsely in a mixer.
  3. Finely chop the deseeded dates and blend it in mixer. Donot add anything else while grinding. Blend into a smooth paste.
  4. Now add this to the powdered cashewnuts and combine well.
  5. Shape into burfis and dust it in khus khus.
  6. Ready to serve.
