Kaju Barfi

Ingredients to make Kaju Barfi

  • cashew/Kaju powder 1 1/2 cup
  • sugar 1/4 cup
  • water 1/4 cup
  • Silver leaves 3

How to make Kaju Barfi

  1. Make two strings sugar syrup by mixing sugar, water and boiling it.
  2. Add kaju powder to the syrup.
  3. After a minute or two, the mixture will start leaving the sides, it is cooked.
  4. Roll out this mixture on a board, let it cool. Apply silver leaves on it and cut as desired.

My Tip:

Before rolling on a board, spread cling wrap or foil and apply a little oil.
