Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. garlic/ lehsun-2 heads peeled
  2. shallots-10
  3. coconut-1/4cup
  4. tamarind -1 small piece
  5. curryleaves-1 sprig
  6. kashmiri dried redchilli-4
  7. gingelly oil-2tsp
  8. salt

Instructions

  1. peel the garlic and shallots and keepaside
  2. heat gingelly oil in a pan when it is hot add the redchillies
  3. next add shallots and garlic
  4. add in curryleaves and salt
  5. fry till garlics and shallots are golden brown. switch off and let it cool down
  6. add this in a mixie jar along with 1/4cup of coconut and tamarind
  7. grind it to smooth paste and garnish with coriander leaves
  8. served with idli dosa and vegetable rice
