ABOUT Whole wheat nimki. RECIPE

A loved snack by my children,made of whole wheat instead of maida.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Whole wheat flour 2cups.
  2. Ghee 1/2 cup.
  3. Oil for deep frying 500 ml.
  4. Nigella seeds 1tea spoon.
  5. Salt to taste.

Instructions

  1. Mix flour and oil to form a crumbly texture.
  2. Leave it for 10minutes.
  3. Add salt and nigella seeds,mix,add lukewarm water to make a semi hard dough.
  4. Cover and set aside for 15 minutes.
  5. Roll into a 1cm thick sheet.Cut into 3"_4"long strips.
  6. Deep fry on medium heat till golden.
  7. Fry in 3_4batches.
  8. Serve with sauce.
