A fusion recipe using Season's best of vegetables and Lentils by me are a treat to the tastebuds. A healthy way to feed your tiny tots indeed. They will no longer say no to many of the green vegetables and will relish these Pakoras to the last bite. Let your imagination get better off and use your favourite green vegetables along with your loved ones preferable choice and whip up something yummy and unique as well. Mixed Lentils and Green Vegetable Pakoras...

Ingredients to make Mixed Lentils and Green Vegetable Pakoras...

  • Yellow lentils 1 cup
  • black gram or White Lentils 1 cup
  • salt to taste
  • green chillies 4
  • turmeric 1 tsp
  • cumin powder 1 tsp
  • coriander powder 1 tsp
  • red chilli POWDER 1 TBSP
  • asafoetida 1/8 tsp
  • ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • spring onions chopped 2 1/2 cups
  • fenugreek Leaves small ones 1/4 cup
  • fenugreek Leaves big ones chopped 1 cup
  • coriander leaves finely chopped 1/2 cup
  • curry leaves torn into pieces 12

How to make Mixed Lentils and Green Vegetable Pakoras...

  1. Soak both the Lentils for about 4 hours.
  2. Grind them a bit coarsely with green chillies and ginger garlic paste.
  3. Also add the chopped greens to it.
  4. Now add the rest of the ingredients to the batter and mix well.
  5. The batter looks so fluffy and perfect. Isn't it?
  6. Deep fry dropping small balls into hot oil on a medium high heat.
  7. Cook until they are browned evenly from all the sides.
  8. Fluffy, melt in mouth and soft Pakoras are ready to be enjoyed with any Chutney of your choice.
