Carrot Paratha

Ingredients to make Carrot Paratha

  • For stuffing masala:
  • carrots grated 5-6
  • onions finely chopped 3
  • coriander leaves a handful
  • Garam masala 1 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • red chilli powder 2 tsp
  • For dough
  • wheat flour 1 1/2 bowl
  • maida 1/2 bowl
  • salt to taste

How to make Carrot Paratha

  1. For stuffing masala: Heat a kadai. Add onion and fry till translucent. Then add carrots. Fry well. Now add salt, garam masala, red chilli powder and coriander leaves and fry for 5 minutes. Keep aside to cool. Once cooled, make equal sized balls.
  2. For dough: Take a bowl. Add wheat flour and maida. Add required water and knead into a dough. Make equal sized balls.
  3. Roll each dough ball into a small chapati. Then keep the stuffing masala and close it and roll into parathas. Follow the same procedure for the remaining masala.
  4. Heat a tawa. Add butter. Roast the parathas on both sides.
  5. Serve hot with thick curd.

Hello shobha ji I want to ask one question. Is carrot leave it's own water when we fry it.because normally when we make carrot halwa then this happened.
