Ingredients to make Sprouts and Paneer Idly Uppma

  • Idly - 3 nos, crumbled
  • paneer - 5 to 10 cubes, crumbled
  • Sprouts - 1 tablespoon
  • onion - 1 finely chopped
  • Green chilli - 2 finely chopped
  • Groundnut - 1 tablespoon
  • mustard - 1 teaspoon for seasoning
  • oil - 1 tablespoon for frying
  • turmeric - 1 pinch
  • curry leaves - 1 strand
  • salt - as per taste

How to make Sprouts and Paneer Idly Uppma

  1. Heat a kadai. Add the oil and allow it to heat up. Then add the mustard seeds and allow it to crackle.
  2. Add in the curry leaves along with the groundnut and fry it for a few seconds.
  3. Next add chilli and onions, fry till they are golden brown in colour.
  4. Add in sprouts and fry till the soften. Also add in the turmeric and fry for a few seconds.
  5. Next add in paneer and fry for a few seconds.
  6. Also add the crumbled idlies and fry in a low flame for few minutes till they mix well. Add salt as per taste and stir well.
  7. Remove from the stove and serve it hot.
