Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 1 cup crushed cornflakes (unsweetened)
  2. ½ cup muesli , slightly roasted (or more of cornflakes)
  3. 3 cups chopped milk chocolate (or dark/white)

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8 inch pan with parchment paper (or Aluminum foil) with overhang for easy removal of chocolate bars.
  2. Chop chocolate into small chunks (3 cups) to make melting them easier and faster.
  3. In a double boiler or in microwave, melt the chopped chocolate until fully melted. If using microwave, heat in 20-second bursts, stirring in between until fully melted.
  4. Stir in other ingredients; 1 cup cornflakes, 1/2 cup muesli etc. and mix well with spatula until the flakes are fully combined.
  5. Pour into parchment lined/aluminum foil lined pan and smoothen the top.
  6. Set in refrigerator to set; about 15 minutes and cut into desired pieces. Wait for about 10 minutes after removing from fridge to cut or they will crack. Use a sharp, heavy knife to make clean cuts. Enjoy!
  7. Serve as a snack/dessert! Enjoy this easy-peasy chocolate delight anytime you or your kids have a hunger pang or a chocolate craving!
  8. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for a couple of weeks; stays fresh on the counter for up to 2 days.
  9. Feel free to use any kind of cereal instead of cornflakes like rice krispies, murmura/puffed rice etc. If you do not have muesli, use only cornflakes. Add chopped nuts if desired for more crunch and nutrition.
  10. If you love peanut butter or any of the other nut/seed butters out there, stir in a couple of tablespoons of them in the chocolate before mixing in the cereal.
