Ingredients to make Blueberry Crumble Pie

  • 1 cup all purpose flour (200 gms)
  • 100 gms of cold unsalted butter
  • 50 gms of sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp of cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice

How to make Blueberry Crumble Pie

  1. Mix together the all purpose flour, sugar, butter together with the help of your fingers until the butter combines with the flour and you get a crumble like mixture.
  2. In a bowl mix the blueberries with sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice. Try and crush the blueberries a little with the help of a spoon so that it mixes well with the sugar and cornstarch.
  3. Now, butter the ramekins or any baking dish that you choose. Pour in the blueberry mix. Cover 3/4th of the ramekins with the blueberries. Then top it up with the crumble.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven for 15-20 mins at 160 degrees celsius.
  5. Serve it warm with a large scoop of ice cream on top.

My Tip:

Make sure you chill the crumble for sometime so that it's moist and flaky once baked.
