Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Siwain 200 gms
  2. Sugar 1 cup
  3. Milk 3 cup
  4. Water 1 cup
  5. Cardamom powder 1/4 tsp
  6. Makhana 1 cup
  7. Raisins 2 tbsp
  8. Almonds 2 tbsp
  9. Cashew nuts 2 tbsp
  10. Clarified butter 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Dry roast the siwain and keep aside
  2. Heat clarified butter in a pan and deep fry the makhana,almonds,raisins and cashew nuts one by one and keep aside
  3. Heat a pan add half cup of sugar and one cup of water to make a syrup
  4. Add roasted siwain in the sugar syrup and cook until they soft
  5. In a pan add sugar and milk and cook in a slow flame until it becomes 1/4 cup
  6. Add siwain and cardamom powder and mix well
  7. Garnish with makhana, almonds ,cashew nuts and raisins
