  1. Clean the Prawns . Marinate these with salt n turmeric powder. Keep it.
  2. Heat the mustard oil/ghee in a karai and add the whole garam masala with bay leaves. Fry for a minute.
  3. Then add the onion paste & fry till the raw smell of the onion goes on a med flame. Then add ginger garlic paste &fry again for few mins.
  4. Then add tomato puree & fry continuously till masala separates from oil/ghee on a med flame.
  5. Now add turmeric, chilly powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, kashmir red chilly powder . Fry little on low flame. Then add curd to it. Mix properly. Add salt as per your taste. Be careful while adding salt as salt is added already in prawns. Fry for few secs.
  6. Now add marinated prawns to this mixture. Cook for 3 to 4 mins on high flame.
  7. Now add coconut milk & green chilly to it.
  8. Cover & cook over high flame for 5 to 6 mins till the gravy thickens.
  9. Now add garam masala, cream to it. Switch off the flame. Garnish with coriander leaves.

My Tip:

Prawns should be cooked raw for better taste. Don't overcook the Prawns.
