This is one of the famous curry of the mughalai cuisine.It is famous in Utterpradesh.This curry is made during special occassions.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Marination:
  2. Chicken cut into med pieces 300grms
  3. Gin.garlic 1tsp
  4. Green cardamon 1/2 tsp
  5. Salt to taste
  6. For gravy:
  7. Yogurt 125ml
  8. Cream 2tbsp
  9. White pepper 1/2 tsp
  10. Coriander powder 1/2tbsp
  11. Chilly powder 1/4 tsp
  12. Salt to taste
  13. Cardamon powder 1/2 tsp grinded
  14. Onions sliced 2
  15. Garam masala 1/2 tsp
  16. Coriander leaves 1/2 cup
  17. Cashew paste 2tbsp
  18. Green chilly 2 chopped
  19. Green cardamon, cloves 2 each
  20. Bayleaf 1
  21. Ghee+oil 3tbsp

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken with the ingredients under marination and keep for 30mins
  2. In a pan add oil+ghee add the cloves, cardamon and bayleaf and saute until nice aroma comes
  3. Then add the onions saute until browned,then add the remaining gin.garlic paste and green chillies and saute
  4. Add cashew paste and 1/2 cup water and cook till thickens
  5. Remove and allow to cool and after make a paste and keep aside
  6. In the same pan add oil and fry the marinated chicken
  7. Cook until browned
  8. Now add the ground paste to the cooked chicken
  9. Add the yogurt and mix
  10. Allow to cook for 10 mins and then add the cream followed by cardamon powder ,white pepper mix well
  11. Now add coriander leaves mix well.at last sprinkle garam masala powder
  12. Creamy and rich chicken gravy is ready
