ABOUT COCONUT HALWA IN EDIBLE NUTTY BOX RECIPE

A goa beach inspired dessert with a little twist. Coconut halwa with caramelised apple, the flavour of cinamon in an edible box made of nuts and coconut praline

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup sugar
  2. 1 bowl roasted nuts cashewnut almonds and half bowl coconut burada
  3. 1 tbspn ghee
  4. For coconut halwa
  5. 1 cup milk,
  6. 1 cup grated coconut,
  7. 1/2 bowl sugar,
  8. 1 tspn of elaichi powder
  9. Caramelized apple
  10. 1/2 bowl apple in small pices
  11. 1tsp of butter
  12. 4 tblsp of sugar

Instructions

  1. Take a wok add sugar stir continuously let it melt after melting it changes the colour now remove from the gas add roasted finely chopped nuts and ghee
  2. Now grease the kitchen platform with little ghee and spread this mixture as thin as you make now cut it into square shape and keep aside
  3. For halwa take a wok add milk add sugar add grated coconut to it and cook it for 10 min on slow flame and make it like halwa consistency lastly add elaichi powder
  4. Caramelized sugar put butter to pan add apple to it stir for 5 min now transfer this apple in another bowl now add sugar and melt it after changes the colour add buttery apple and 1tsp cinnamon powder
  5. Now assembling time take square pices and make like box for glue I used melted sugar now fill with coconut halwa topped with apple and garnish with nuts.
