ABOUT Aaloo Bharta RECIPE

Mashed potatoes with capsicum, anytime quick side dish when vegetables are not available at home.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2-3 boiled potatoes
  2. 1 Onion
  3. 1 Capsicum
  4. 1 Tomato
  5. Salt to taste
  6. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  7. A pinch of garam masala
  8. 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
  9. Amchoor powder as per taste

Instructions

  1. Take oil in a pan, add chopped onions.
  2. As the colour changes, add chopped capsicum and tomatoes.
  3. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Add in mashed potatoes and mix it.
  5. Add all the dry masalas, cook for a minute. Add amchoor powder and garam masala.
  6. Aloo bharta is ready to eat.
