Bread Coconut Burfi

Ingredients to make Bread Coconut Burfi

  • Milk bread 4 pieces
  • sugar 1/2 cup
  • Fresh grated coconut 1/4 cup
  • Cardamon powder 1/8 tsp
  • Design ghee 1 tsp
  • Khoya or dry milk 1 tbsp

How to make Bread Coconut Burfi

  1. Grind bread in grinder to make breadcrumb.
  2. Heat ghee in a pan and fry the coconut for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add sugar and 1-2 drop water.
  4. When sugar dissolve and water. After the water dries up, add breadcrumb and cardamon powder.
  5. Mix well and fry till it is gathers.
  6. Set on a greased thali.
  7. When cool add vark on top (Optional), cut into desired shape.

My Tip:

Desiccated coconut can be used instead of fresh coconut.
