Ingredients to make Coconut rava kesari

  • 1 cup Rava
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cup coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup ghee
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1 pinch orange food colour
  • 1/4 cup mix n chopped dryfruits

How to make Coconut rava kesari

  1. Heat a pan dry roast the rava until light golden brown. Transfer to a dry plate.
  2. Next in a same pan, heat the ghee.
  3. Add chopped mix dryfruits and keep stirring in medium heat until the dryfruits become golden brown.
  4. Next add the coconut milk, water. Sugar n stir gently.
  5. Cover until the mixture begins to boil.
  6. When it start to boil lower the heat, add rava slowly and gently stir simultaneously to avoid the lumps.
  7. Keep stirring until the mixture turn out to be semi solid consistency, leave it covered for 5 minutes on a low flame.
  8. Next turn off the flame, sprinkle cardamom powder and mix well.
  9. Ready to be served.
