Baby Corn stir fry

Ingredients to make Baby Corn stir fry

  • all purpose flour 1/2 cup
  • Baby corn 200 gm
  • oil for frying
  • salt 1 tsp
  • sugar 1/2 tbsp
  • tomato ketchup 2 tbsp
  • Soya sauce 1 tbsp
  • vinegar 2 tsp
  • chilli flakes 1/2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • sesame seeds 2 tbsp
  • garlic chopped 1 tbsp
  • ginger chopped 1 tbsp
  • spring onions 2 tbsp for garnish or basil leaves

How to make Baby Corn stir fry

  1. Make a thick better using flour, salt, half of the red chilli powder and ginger paste.
  2. Add sesame seeds to it and mix well.
  3. Cut baby corn diagonally.
  4. Mix in batter and fry till crisp.
  5. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan and add 1 tbsp garlic, chopped.
  6. Add ketchup, salt, soya sauce, sugar and vinegar. Give it a nice boil.
  7. Mix in the fried corn and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  8. Garnish with spring onions and serve with plain rice.
