ABOUT Multi purpose idli/dosa batter RECIPE

This batter yields you super soft idlis, crispy appeys and tasty dosas. You can even prepare thick pancakes using this batter.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Raw rice 2 cups
  2. urad dal 1 cup
  3. Methi seeds a few (Optional)
  4. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Soak raw rice, urad dal and methi together for 4 hours.
  2. Grind to a smooth paste. Add salt while grinding.
  3. After grinding keep overnight for fermentation.
