#2 minutes Kalakand

Ingredients to make #2 minutes Kalakand

  • cottage cheese 1 cup
  • Milk powder 1 cup
  • sugar 1 tbsp
  • Green cardamom 3
  • pista 1 tbsp
  • kewra essence 1/2 tsp

How to make #2 minutes Kalakand

  1. Heat a wok. Add cottage cheese and sugar. Stir.
  2. When mixture starts leaving water (which takes just a minute) add milk powder. Mix well.
  3. Stir continuously on low heat till thickens enough to set. This time varies as per moisture in cottage cheese.
  4. Switch off flame.
  5. Add green cardamom powder and kewra essence. Mix.
  6. Spread the mixture in a tray lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle slivered pista over it.
  7. Let it set for few minutes, cut into squares.
  8. When cool cut off your squares and your instant kalakand is ready.

My Tip:

Cottage cheese should not contain too much water. Neither should it be too dry.
