2-Minutes Granola

Ingredients to make 2-Minutes Granola

  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon water
  • 2 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 4 and 1/2 tablespoons oats
  • 1 tablespoon desiccated coconut
  • 1 tbsp almonds, chopped

How to make 2-Minutes Granola

  1. In a large bowl, mix in the maple syrup, water, oil, salt, oats and nuts until it is blended well. Spread it on a microwave safe plate.
  2. Microwave it for 1 minute and stir well.
  3. Once again, microwave it for 1 more minute or until the oats are golden brown in colour. (You will see them getting golden in color and starting to toast up.)
  4. Let it stand for 2 to 3 minutes to cool before eating. (If there's extra, store in an airtight container and consume in the next 5 days.)

My Tip:

The cooking time will vary depending on your microwave and the width and depth of the baking plate used. Add 1 chopped tablespoon of dried fruit once it's microwaved (e.g. raisins, apricots, cranberries)
