Chocolate Candy Cake

Ingredients to make Chocolate Candy Cake

  • 2 eggs
  • 100 gms flour
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/8 tsp baking soda
  • 100 gms sugar
  • Dark chocolate compound 250 gms
  • 125 gms amul fresh cream
  • Chocolate candies which ever you want to put on the cake

How to make Chocolate Candy Cake

  1. For the Chocolate truffle cake: Sieve all the dry ingredients together.
  2. In a bowl, beat egg whites till fluffy then add sugar till it shines and the sugar melts. Add egg yolks in it and beat till it looks like a custard.
  3. Add in the dry ingredients to the wet mixture in 3 parts and fold the mixture by cut and fold method.
  4. Grease your pan with butter and flour. Preheat the oven for 15 minutes and then bake the cake on 180 degree centigrade for 15 minutes or till the skewer inserted comes out clean.
  5. For the ganache: Chop the chocolate and place in a bowl. Heat the cream in a pan till bubbles appear slightly. Pour in the chocolate and cover with a cling film for 2 minutes.
  6. Mix to get a smooth ganache, pour this over the cake and decorate with your choice of chocolates and candies. Keep in the fridge till you serve it.
